By Darren Johnson
Expanding its reach to an even larger number of small businesses, Northrop Grumman is embracing its role as the platinum sponsor for this year's Navy Gold Coast conference Aug. 6 – 8, 2012 in San Diego. After participating in the conference for several years, Northrop Grumman is increasing its connections with small businesses and recognizes that a bigger presence at Navy Gold Coast will deliver new business opportunities and bolster its local presence.

Why We Choose NAVY Gold Coast – Meet ITB Consulting
Small businesses are the engines that drive growth in the national economy, and ITB Consulting, a San Diego-based small business dedicated to providing financial & business software support & consulting to up-and-coming government contractors, helps them gain more work on large, government contracts.
"NAVY Gold Coast is our favorite show of the year," said Jody Lund, president of ITB. "We support and sponsor Gold Coast first and then figure out what other events we'd like to attend."
Whether it's the face-to-face interactions during the trade show or networking over cocktails at the VIP & Sponsor reception, Lund and Chief Executive Officer Val Lendaro have signed clients and enhanced business relationships directly from their involvement at the event.
"We've just engaged a small business that we met at GoldCoast 3 years ago," Lund said. "The company was 10 people when we first met and now they have more than 50 employees. They are now ready to take advantage of our services."
The NDIA-San Diego Chapter and the Office of NAVY Small Business Programs would like to thank ITB Consulting for their continued support and look forward to a great event on August 6-8, 2012.
