About the Department of the Navy (DON) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP)

OSBP promote acquisition opportunities where small business can best support the needs of our Sailors and Marines. We owe it to these men and women to provide them with the systems, innovation, products and tools necessary to enable them to accomplish their mission and return home safely.

Small businesses, including Service Disabled Veteran-Owned small businesses (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business zone (HUBZone) small businesses, Small Disadvantaged businesses (SDB), and Women-Owned small business (WOSB) concerns, are a vital part of our economy and help to keep our country the strongest in the world. The Department of the Navy (DON) is committed to our countrys small business community having the maximum opportunities to participate in the Navys acquisition program both as prime contractors and subcontractors. It is with this commitment that the Office of the Secretary of the Navy Small Business Programs Strategic Business Plan was written recognizing that success is achieved with the necessary resources, attitude and environment.
