Ms. Fisher has more than 30 years of acquisition and leadership experience. Her last federal job was as the Deputy Director of NITAAC. Currently she is supporting NITAAC as an acquisition support consultant. Prior to joining NITAAC she served as the Office of Acquisition Management and Policy Associate Director in the NIH Office of Acquisition Logistics and Management. Most of her acquisition career was spent in the Research and Development area, including as Section Chief for Advanced Research and Development for the Biomedical Advanced Research Development Authority, HHS Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR).

Ms. Fisher is the recipient of the NIH Directors Award, the OD Honor Award and the co-author of the “Cost Recovery of Independent Research and Development and Bid and Proposal,” published in the proceedings of the 1989 Acquisition Research Symposium. Ms. Fisher was a FAC-C Level III and DAWIA Level III Certified in Contracting. She has a BA in psychology from Bucknell University and a JD from Tulane University.
