Rodman, Jim

Retired Rear Admiral James H. Rodman Jr. is the Chief Executive Officer of Mission Focused Systems, Inc. (MFS), a spin out of the engineering services business from XSITE, LLC, the San Diego-based Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) he cofounded in 2014. MFS is focused on solving the Nation’s toughest enterprise and systems engineering challenges in space, C5ISR, cyber and enterprise information systems. Admiral Rodman has over 35 years of civilian, Reserve and Active Duty experience in the design, development, systems engineering, integration and operations of the nation’s national security space and C5ISR systems.

Prior to his retirement from the Navy in October 2014, he served as the Chief Engineer of Naval Information Warfare Systems Command, formerly known as SPAWAR. Admiral Rodman holds an MS in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and School of Engineering and Applied Science, a JD with a concentration in Intellectual Property from the Villanova University School of Law, and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University. Admiral Rodman and his wife, Linnea, reside in Coronado, CA.
